The results of poor mental health can be deadly.
Globally, a man dies every minute from suicide. Men, regardless of age group, often don’t recognise when they’re experiencing a mental health issue, and may not be comfortable asking for help.
The uncomfortable truth is that some stereotypical forms of masculinity are killing men.
Move for Mental Health
Move is how The Order of Mo remembers the 60 men lost to suicide globally, every hour.
To take part, all you have to do is run or walk 60km. Cover the distance in one go or over the month.

Identifying the warning signs
Since men are known to socialise less and are often less likely to talk about their feelings, they are also less likely to seek help or treatment than women.
However, 79.34% of suicides in SA are committed by men (WHO, 2019).

Men are dying before their time. But you can help us change and save lives.
If you identify with any of the warning signs above, please ask for help.
